Summary

Presidential Transition Enhancement Act of 2018

This bill modifies the procedures and requirements for presidential transitions. The bill includes provisions that reduce the time period during which the General Services Administration (GSA) may provide transition services, specify that congressional employees may be detailed to transition teams, and require the GSA and transition teams to enter into a memorandum of understanding that includes the conditions of access to the staff, facilities, and documents of agencies.
