Structured Settlement Claimants Rights Act of 2019

This bill allows a claimant in a civil action in federal court to retain a structured settlement broker to negotiate a schedule of payments for an amount previously agreed to be paid by the defendant in satisfaction of a judgment or settlement. The same right is afforded to parties in administrative agency adjudications.
