Summary

Safe Sleep Act of 2019

This bill makes it unlawful to manufacture, sell, or distribute inclined sleepers for infants. Specifically, inclined sleepers for infants are those that are designed for an infant up to one year old and have an inclined sleep surface of greater than 10 degrees. The bill also requires that any rules promulgated by the Consumer Product Saftey Commission with respect to infant sleepers are consistent with prevailing safe sleep best practices.
