Summary

Define WOTUS Act of 2019

This bill describes which bodies of water fall under federal jurisdiction for purposes of the Clean Water Act. Specifically, the bill (1) repeals the Clean Water Rule that was issued on May 27, 2015, by the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; (2) redefines navigable waters; and (3) establishes a process for the U.S. Army to determine, upon request, whether certain waters are navigable waters.
