COVID-19 Safer Detention Act of 2020

This bill modifies programs that allow for early release of certain federal inmates, including by expanding eligibility for the Elderly Home Detention Pilot Program and making vulnerability to COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) a basis for compassionate release during the public health emergency.
