Summary

National Oceanographic Partnership Program Revitalization Act or the NOPP Revitalization Act

This bill directs the Department of the Navy to establish the National Oceanographic Partnership Program the purpose of which, among other things, is to promote the national goals of assuring national security, advancing economic development, protecting quality of life, ensuring environmental stewardship, and strengthening science education and communication through improved knowledge of the ocean. The bill also establishes (1) an Ocean Policy Committee, and (2) an Ocean Research Advisory Panel.
