Summary

Accountability for CARES Act of 2020

This bill prohibits funds appropriated under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act from going to an entity owned by, controlled by, or under the influence of (1) the government of China, (2) the Chinese Communist Party, or (3) an entity domiciled in China. The Department of the Treasury shall recover funds appropriated under the CARES Act that were previously provided to such an entity.
