American Indian Land Empowerment Act of 2020

This bill directs the Department of the Interior, upon the request of an Indian tribe, to transfer land held in trust for the tribe or land owned in fee by the tribe to the tribe as restricted fee tribal land. Restricted fee tribal land refers to land that is owned by a tribe or tribal member and has restrictions against alienation (i.e., sale or transfer) and taxation.
