COVID-19 Consumer Protection Act

This bill provides authority for the Federal Trade Commission to seek civil penalties from entities engaging in deceptive trade practices that are associated with the treatment, cure, prevention, mitigation, or diagnosis of COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) for the duration of such public health emergency.
