Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in the short title Section. Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to: XX ILCS YY/ZZ Adds reference to: 735 ILCS 30/25-5-130 new Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Eminent Domain Act. Provides that quick-take powers may be used for a period of no more than 2 years after the effective date of the amendatory Act by the City of Marengo for the acquisition of certain described property for the purpose of extending water and sanitary sewer services for the Interstate 90-Illinois Route 23 Corridor. Repeals the new provisions 3 years after the effective date. Effective immediately.
