Summary

This bill amends the Virgin Islands of the United States Centennial Commission Act to provide that if the Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands declines to or does not appoint a member to the Virgin Islands of the United States Centennial Commission by the required deadline, such member shall be appointed by the Delegate to the House of Representatives from the Virgin Islands.

The commission shall terminate on September 30, 2019 (currently September 30, 2018), or at an earlier date determined by the commission after submitting its final report to Congress.

The provision prohibiting federal funds from being authorized or obligated to carry out such Act is repealed.
