Summary

Health Care Workplace Violence Prevention Act

This bill requires the Department of Labor to address workplace violence in health care facilities pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. Specifically, Labor must issue a rule that requires certain health care employers to adopt a comprehensive plan for protecting health care workers and other personnel from workplace violence.
