Summary
National Centers of Excellence in Continuous Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Act of 2018
This bill authorizes the Food and Drug Administration to partner with institutions of higher education to designate them as National Centers of Excellence in Continuous Pharmaceutical Manufacturing for the purpose of studying and recommending improvements to the process of continuous manufacturing of medications. (Currently, most medications are manufactured in batches.)
