Summary

License Natural Gas Now Act of 2017 or the LNG Now Act of 2017

This bill amends the Natural Gas Act to prohibit the federal government from imposing any restriction on the importation and exportation of natural gas.

The bill does not limit the President's ability to restrict the importation or exportation of natural gas: (1)during national emergencies or disasters, and (2)to foreign countries if the President declares a national emergency with respect to such country.
