Summary

Vaccine Awareness Campaign to Champion Immunization Nationally and Enhance Safety Act of 2019 or the VACCINES Act

This bill requires the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to award grants to support a national campaign to increase vaccination rates. The CDC may also award certain project grants to help states, local governments, and other public entities understand barriers to vaccination, improve vaccination rates, and assess certain public health outcomes related to vaccinations.
