Summary

Job Corps Protection Act

This bill instructs the Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Department of Labor to (1) not transfer the function of any Forest Service Jobs Corps Civilian Conservation Center to Labor, and (2) ensure that each center is wholly operated only by USDA.

Also, the bill prohibits any of the funds appropriated to USDA or Labor for FY2019 or FY2020 from being used to close any center.
