Summary
Improving Adoption Outcomes and Affordability Act of 2019
This bill requires that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provide post-adoption counseling services to birthmothers who place their children for adoption. HHS also must provide information for contacting counseling service providers and fund training for hospital staff about post-adoption care.
