Summary
Law Enforcement Suicide Data Collection Act
This bill directs the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to establish a new program—the Law Enforcement Officers Suicide Data Collection Program—to prevent and understand law enforcement suicides.
Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies may submit to the FBI, and the FBI must report on, data about suicides and attempted suicides of current and former officers.
