Recognizes the efforts to combat terrorism by the government of Somalia, the countries contributing troops to the African Union Mission in Somalia, and U.S. forces in Somalia. Reaffirms U.S. support for that government's efforts to achieve peace, security, and prosperity and to combat terrorism in Somalia.
Renews the solidarity between the people and governments of the United States and Somalia.
