Ms. Brownley of California (for herself and Mr. Capuano) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure


A BILL

To apply the provisions of title 5, United States Code, related to veterans’ preference to the Federal Aviation Administration personnel management system, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Federal Aviation Administration Veterans’ Preference Protection Act”.

SEC. 2. Application of veterans’ preference to Federal Aviation Administration personnel management system.

Section 40122(g)(2)(B) of title 49, United States Code, is amended—

(1) by inserting “3304(f),” before “3308–3320”; and

(2) by inserting “3330a, 3330b, 3330c, and 3330d,” before “relating”.
