Summary

Fairness for Housing Communities Act of 2019

This bill requires that the amount of any penalty or assessment imposed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) because of a false claim made in connection with certain public housing assistance be returned to HUD.

HUD may establish a Fraud Compensation Fund consisting of such amounts.
