Summary

National Heritage Areas Reauthorization Act of 2019

This bill reauthorizes certain National Heritage Areas and increases the total amount that may be made available for certain National Heritage Corridors.

The bill increases the total amount that may be appropriated for (1) the Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor (formerly the Quinebaug and Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor) in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and (2) the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor in New York.

The bill reauthorizes through FY2022 (1) the National Aviation National Heritage Area in Ohio and Indiana, and (2) the Oil Region National Heritage Area in Pennsylvania.
