A BILL

To amend title 38, United States Code, to provide for an increase in the maximum amount of Department of Veterans Affairs grants to States and tribal organizations for operating and maintaining veterans’ cemeteries.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Veterans Cemetery Grants Improvement Act”.

SEC. 2. Increase in maximum amount of Department of Veterans Affairs grants to States and tribal organizations for operating and maintaining veterans’ cemeteries.

Section 2408(e)(2) of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking “$5,000,000” and inserting “$10,000,000”.
