Summary
Strategic Global Supply Chains Act of 2020
This bill requires the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) to submit a report every 60 days through December 31, 2022, identifying articles that may be needed to respond to the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic.
Among other information, each report shall include (1) the statistical reporting number of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule under which the article is classifiable, (2) a legal description of the article, (3) the total rate of duty applicable to the article, and (4) the major countries of origin for the article.
