Summary

Protect Utah's Rural Economy Act

This bill prohibits the President from establishing or extending national monuments in Utah unless

  • the proposed establishment or extension has been authorized by federal statute, and
  • the President has received a notice from the Governor of Utah that the state legislature has enacted legislation approving of the proposed establishment or extension.
