To prohibit the Secretary of Homeland Security from rescinding, revising, or suspending the final rule, entitled “Inadmissibility on Public Charge Grounds”, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
This Act may be cited as the “Preserving Safety Net Integrity Act of 2021”.
SEC. 2. Requiring implementation of final rule.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of Homeland Security may not take any action to rescind, revise, or suspend the final rule, entitled “Inadmissibility on Public Charge Grounds” (85 Fed. Reg. 41292, August 14, 2019).
