Summary
Amends the Information Technology Accessibility Act. Provides that the Department of Innovation and Technology (currently, the Department of Human Services) shall review certain accessibility standards. Removes a specific reference to the Department of Central Management Services. Effective immediately. Provides that a prescriber shall not be required to issue prescriptions electronically if the prescription is issued by a licensed veterinarian within 2 years after the effective date of the amendatory Act. Effective immediately. Senate Floor Amendment No. 2 Adds reference to: 50 ILCS 750/3 from Ch. 134, par. 33 Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act. Provides that a municipality with a population over 500,000 shall provide Next Generation 9-1-1 service by January 1, 2026 (rather than July 1, 2024).
