A BILL

To amend the Public Health Service Act to reauthorize grants to address the problems of persons who experience violence related stress.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Save Children from Trauma Act of 2023”.

SEC. 2. Grants to address the problems of persons who experience violence related stress.

Section 582(j) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 290hh–1(j)) is amended by striking “$63,887,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023” and inserting “$93,887,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 through 2028”.
