A BILL

To direct the Secretary of Defense to provide to each health care provider of the Department of Defense training regarding the potential health effects of perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “PFAS Training For DoD Providers and Servicemembers Act”.

SEC. 2. Mandatory training on health effects of perfluoroalkyl or poly­fluor­o­al­kyl substances.

The Secretary of Defense shall provide to each health care provider of the Department of Defense mandatory training regarding the potential health effects of perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances.
