A BILL

To reauthorize certain United States Geological Survey water data enhancement programs.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Water Data Improvement Act”.

SEC. 2. Water data enhancement by United States Geological Survey.

Section 9507 of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (42 U.S.C. 10367) is amended—

(1) in subsection (a)(6)—

(A) in subparagraph (A), by striking “2023” and inserting “2028”; and

(B) in subparagraph (B), by striking “2019” and inserting “2028”;

(2) in subsection (b)(7), by striking “2023” and inserting “2028”; and

(3) in subsection (d)(4), by striking “2019” and inserting “2028”.
