Mr. Cassidy (for himself and Mr. Kennedy) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources

A BILL

To amend the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area Act to modify the boundary of the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Atchafalaya National Heritage Area Boundary Modification Act”.

SEC. 2. Atchafalaya National Heritage Area Boundary Modification.

(a) Boundaries.—Section 213(b) of the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area Act (54 U.S.C. 120102 note; Public Law 109–338; 120 Stat. 1791) is amended by striking “and Ascension” and inserting “Ascension, and Lafourche”.

(b) Composition of local coordinating entity.—Section 213(c)(2) of the Atchafalaya National Heritage Area Act (54 U.S.C. 120102 note; Public Law 109–338; 120 Stat. 1791) is amended by striking “14” and inserting “15”.
