Summary

Equal Protection of Unaccompanied Minors Act

This bill establishes rules for the care of unaccompanied alien children (under age 18) in detention. It also revises rules for the detention of aliens who commit violent crimes and expands the grounds of inadmissibility and deportability for alien gang members.

The bill revises asylum provisions and imposes criminal penalties for asylum fraud.
