An Act to amend and reenact §§ 51.1-169, 51.1-304, 51.1-306, 51.1-306.1, and 51.1-308 of the Code of Virginia, relating to Virginia Retirement System; judges. Virginia Retirement System; service retirement allowance for certain judges. Provides that judges appointed or elected to an original term commencing on or after July 1, 2026,  shall have their service retirement allowance determined under Plan 2. The bill also provides that the service retirement allowance for service rendered on or after July 1, 2026, by judges appointed or elected to an original term commencing on or after January 1, 2014, shall be determined under Plan 2.
