Summary
An Act to amend and reenact ยงยง 19.2-327.15, 19.2-327.17, 19.2-327.18, and 19.2-327.19 of the Code of Virginia, relating to issuance of writ of vacatur for victims of human trafficking. Issuance of writ of vacatur for victims of human trafficking. Amends the procedure that allows victims of human trafficking, defined in the bill, to file a petition of vacatur in circuit court to have certain convictions vacated and the police and court records expunged for such convictions. This bill incorporates HB 2227 and is identical to SB 1460.
