Mrs. Moody (for herself and Mr. Scott of Florida) introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation


A BILL

To require the headquarters of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to be transferred to Brevard County, Florida.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Consolidating Aerospace Programs Efficiently at Canaveral Act” or “ CAPE Canaveral Act”.

SEC. 2. Transfer of National Aeronautics and Space Administration headquarters to Brevard County, Florida.

Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the headquarters of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration shall be transferred to Brevard County, Florida.
