A BILL

To amend the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act to update the eligibility requirements related to metropolitan statistical area population limits for the Community Development Block Grant Colonia Set-Aside Program.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Ensuring Continued Access to Funding for Colonias Act”.

SEC. 2. Amendment to the Colonia Set-Aside Program.

Section 916(e)(4) of the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 5306 note) is amended by striking “1,000,000” and inserting “2,000,000”.
