A BILL

To clarify that whistleblower protections described in section 4712 of title 41, United States Code, apply to any contract funded from amounts appropriated to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Whistleblower Protection Act of 2025”.

SEC. 2. Whistleblower protections for Department of Housing and Urban Development contracts.

Section 4712 of title 41, United States Code, shall apply with respect to any contract, subcontract, grant, subgrant, or personal services contract funded using amounts appropriated to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, regardless of when the contract, subcontract, grant, subgrant, or personal services contract was executed.
