Mr. Issa (for himself, Mr. Cloud, Mr. Moore of Alabama, Mr. Rulli, and Mrs. Luna) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce


A BILL

To define “showerhead” for the purpose of determining the acceptable water pressure for a showerhead, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Showerheads defined.

(a) Repeal.—The final rule of the Department of Energy titled “Energy Conservation Program: Definition of Showerhead” (86 Fed. Reg. 71797 (December 20, 2021)) is repealed.

(b) Showerhead definition.—The final rule of the Department of Energy titled “Energy Conservation Program: Definition of Showerhead” (85 Fed. Reg. 81341 (December 16, 2020)) shall have the force and effect of law.
