Ms. Rosen (for herself, Mr. Coons, Mr. King, Mr. Schiff, Mr. Durbin, Mr. Van Hollen, Mrs. Shaheen, Mr. Padilla, Mr. Welch, Ms. Cortez Masto, and Mr. Bennet) introduced the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary

JOINT RESOLUTION

Providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services relating to “Removal of the Automatic Extension of Employment Authorization Documents”.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

That Congress disapproves the interim final rule submitted by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services relating to “Removal of the Automatic Extension of Employment Authorization Documents” (90 Fed. Reg. 48799 (October 30, 2025)), and such rule shall have no force or effect.
