A BILL to amend and reenact §§ 55.1-2500 and 55.1-2529 of the Code of Virginia and to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 55.1-2514.1, relating to Virginia Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act; digital assets. Virginia Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act; digital financial assets. Creates a statutory framework for the treatment and disposition of unclaimed intangible property in the form of digital financial assets, as defined in the bill.
