Summary
Sunset Process - House Transportation, Housing, and Local Government Committee. The bill implements the recommendations of the department of regulatory agencies in its 2025 sunset review and report. Sections 1 and 2 of the bill continue the fire suppression programs of the division of fire prevention and control for 11 years until 2037 ( recommendation 1 ). Sections 3 through 5 modify certain provisions of the fire suppression programs of the division of fire prevention and control to replace gender-specific terminology with gender-neutral terminology ( recommendation 2 ).(Note: This summary applies to the reengrossed version of this bill as introduced in the second house.)
