This bill directs the Secretary of Defense to create the Senator Robert J. Dole Greatest Generation Education Program to educate the public on the accomplishments and sacrifices of the Greatest Generation in World War II. The program will promote patriotism, honor veterans, educate about the war's impact, remember the Holocaust, and engage young people in learning about WWII. The Secretary can provide grants to states, local governments, and nonprofits for educational activities. Grants have to fund new initiatives not already part of state programs. The Secretary will have sole rights to the program's name and associated symbols.
