Health Care - As introduced, removes acute care hospitals from the requirement of obtaining a certificate of need beginning July 1, 2028. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 33; Title 68; Title 71 and Chapter 985 of the Public Acts of 2024.

Hospitals and Health Care Facilities - As introduced, requires a public benefit hospital entity to provide written notice to the attorney general and reporter not less than 30 days prior to entering into a public benefit hospital conveyance transaction. - Amends TCA Title 48, Chapter 68 and Title 68, Chapter 11.

Solid Waste Disposal - As introduced, decreases, from 90 to 45 days of a vacancy, the time in which the underground storage tanks and solid waste disposal control board must notify the applicable appointing authority of such vacancy on the board. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7 and Title 68, Chapter 211.

Criminal Offenses - As introduced, requires all persons who disseminate smoking paraphernalia to display the sign providing notice of the legal age for purchasing such products required by the Prevention of Youth Access to Tobacco, Smoking Hemp, and Vapor Products Act; removes authorization for a person to substitute a tobacco-related warning sign required by law prior to April 22, 1994. - Amends TCA Title 37; Title 39 and Title 40.

Education, Dept. of - As introduced, allows a local board of education or public charter school governing body that has not received funding from the department for purposes of awarding its teachers the bonus authorized in the Education Freedom Act of 2025 to pass the required resolution and notify the department of same by June 1, 2026, to receive funding from the department to award bonuses to teachers employed in the 2024-2025 school year. - Amends Chapter 7 of the Public Acts of the First Extraordinary Session of 2025.
