Election Laws - As introduced, increases the time allowed for an employee to take time off to vote on election day from three to four hours. - Amends TCA Title 2; Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7 and Title 8.

Motor Vehicles, Titling and Registration - As introduced, increases from 10 to 20, the amount of days within the action complained of, that an aggrieved party must make a written request for a formal hearing under the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act, when the commissioner of revenue issues or refuses to issue a certificate of title, discharges or refuses to discharge a lien, or issues or refuses to issue a replacement certificate of title. - Amends TCA Title 55.

Criminal Procedure - As introduced, extends from 90 days to 100 days, the amount of time in which captured plate data collected or retained by a governmental entity through the use of an automated license plate recognition system may be stored unless the data is retained or stored as part of an ongoing investigation. - Amends TCA Title 8; Title 10; Title 16; Title 38; Title 39; Title 40 and Title 55.

Taxes, Hotel Motel - As introduced, requires a municipality levying the hotel-motel tax under general law to submit a report annually detailing how the revenue earned from the tax is used by the municipality; requires the comptroller of the treasury to audit the reports of the municipality; requires a municipality found to have used the funds improperly to appropriate general funds in the same amount for promotion of tourism and tourism development; prohibits a municipality, on and after July 1, 2025, from levying or increasing the hotel-motel tax if the aggregate total tax would exceed 8 percent. - Amends TCA Title 7, Chapter 4 and Title 67, Chapter 4.

Election Laws - As introduced, enacts the "Uniform Faithful Presidential Electors Act." - Amends TCA Title 2.

Law Enforcement - As introduced, authorizes a law enforcement agency to assign a law enforcement officer to serve as a school resource officer at a school within a local board of education's control that has not entered into a memorandum of understanding with a law enforcement agency to assign a school resource officer to the school. - Amends TCA Title 8; Title 37; Title 38; Title 49 and Title 62.
