Education, Dept. of - As introduced, requires the department to submit an annual report on the implementation of the academic acceleration policy to the education committee of the senate and the committee of the house of representatives having jurisdiction over academic acceleration instead of sending the report upon request. - Amends TCA Title 49.

Courts, Administrative Office of the - As introduced, directs the administrative office of the courts to report on whether the limit on the compensation for noneconomic damages and catastrophic loss or injury should be raised and, if so, their recommendations; requires the report to be submitted to the chair of the judiciary committee of the senate and the chair of the house of representatives having jurisdiction over civil-related matters on or before January 1, 2027, - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 18; Title 29, Chapter 39 and Title 63, Chapter 6, Part 11.

Motor Vehicles - As introduced, requires the department of safety to report to the chairs of the transportation and safety committee of the senate and the committee of the house of representatives having jurisdiction over transportation matters, the number of persons who participated in the motorcycle rider education program and the types of expenses for which the funds in the motorcycle rider safety fund were used during the last three years. - Amends TCA Title 55.

Firearms and Ammunition - As introduced, changes from February 1 to February 15, the date by which the Tennessee bureau of investigation must report to the judiciary committee of the senate and the criminal justice committee of the house of representatives the amount of any background check fees charged to gun dealers that exceeds the costs associated with conducting background checks. - Amends TCA Title 16; Title 33; Title 36; Title 37; Title 38; Title 39; Title 40; Title 49 and Title 65.
