The bill aims to oppose foreign assistance to the Taliban and develop a strategy to discourage foreign countries and organizations from providing support to them. It requires reports on foreign assistance, strategies to support Afghan women and relocate at-risk Afghans, and the status of the Afghan Fund. It also demands a report on direct cash assistance programs in Afghanistan, including oversight to prevent the Taliban from accessing funded assistance. The bill specifies the appropriate congressional committees for oversight.
