Eligible entities include child care providers and partnerships. Grant funds can be used for staffing, facility improvement, curriculum development, and health and safety training. The non-Federal share required for the grants is 25%. The Secretary of Health and Human Services must report to Congress on the impact of the activities. A total of $10,000,000 is authorized for fiscal years 2027 through 2031. Conforming amendments are made to relevant sections of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act of 1990.
