This bill, if passed, will require an audit of non-domiciled commercial driver’s licenses in each state to check compliance with federal laws and regulations. States found substantially noncompliant will be given corrective measures to implement, with follow-up audits for high-error-rate states. If a state fails to comply, federal funding may be withheld.
