The bill aims to support the National Museum of African American History and Culture in developing educational resources and programming related to African American history, using a social justice and anti-bias lens. It empowers the Director to use funds to create, disseminate, and maintain digital resources, promote discourse, and engage various audiences. The bill also authorizes the Director to create, expand, and disseminate scholarly work, enhance the collection acquisition process, and augment African American history education programs. Additionally, it requires the submission of annual reports and briefings to Congress and expresses the sense of Congress on the significance of education about minority groups in America. An authorization of $4,000,000 is provided annually for the next five fiscal years.
