Local Government, General - As introduced, upon approval by majority vote of the governing body of a county or municipality, prohibits the respective member of the approving governing body from serving on both the county and municipal governing body simultaneously; applies only to counties, and municipalities within such counties, with a population in excess of 200,000, according to the 2020 or a subsequent federal census; if so approved, authorizes a member of both a county and municipal governing body to serve out the member's terms. - Amends TCA Title 5; Title 6 and Title 7.
